Property Business Insights (PBI) publishes practical news, regulatory interpretation, market intelligence and free tools for UK property professionals. We write for letting and estate agents, portfolio landlords, property managers, conveyancers, and the proptech and service providers who sell into the sector.

Our test for every story is simple: what does a practitioner have to do differently on Monday morning? We lead with the operational and commercial implication rather than the headline, and we quote the rule, the filing or the source that the claim rests on.

Editorial direction

PBI's editorial direction is set by two named editors, Jamie Adams and David Adams. They decide what the title covers, set the house standards for sourcing and interpretation, and are accountable for what is published.

How the publishing workflow works

PBI is an assisted publication. Trade and regulatory sources are monitored continuously by an automated pipeline, filtered for relevance to UK property operators, and drafted in the PBI house style using AI tooling under editorial rules set by our editors. Articles produced this way are bylined "PBI Newsroom". Named columns carry the author's own byline. We do not present machine-assisted work as individually reported journalism, and we do not claim a newsroom, readership or track record we cannot evidence. Some articles on this site were published earlier in PBI's history and are retained as an archive. They carry a note showing when they first appeared; figures and rules quoted were current at the time of writing.

Commercial model and operator disclosure

PBI is funded by advertising, sponsorship, directory placements and referral arrangements. Commercial relationships never buy favourable editorial coverage, and paid material is labelled. The relationship types we offer are set out on our partners page.
