Editorial model
How we publish
Property Business Insights runs a continuous, largely automated newsroom for UK property professionals. This is how it works, plainly.
Editorial standards
We publish for practitioners: letting and estate agents, portfolio landlords, property managers, conveyancers, and the proptech and service vendors who sell to them. Every story has to answer one question — what does an operator have to do differently as a result?
Story selection is deliberate. We monitor UK property trade sources: regulator and government announcements, tribunal and enforcement outcomes, corporate filings, vendor product and pricing updates, and established trade publications. Incoming items are filtered for relevance to practitioners; consumer house-price and general housing-market coverage is excluded by design. British English, short paragraphs, no hype.
Each article carries one clearly marked editorial verdict, "The PBI Take". That section is opinion and analysis, and is labelled as such so it is never confused with reporting.
Verification and sourcing
Where an article is written from third-party trade reporting, we say so and link the original source in the article's source notes. We do not claim to have independently verified facts we have not verified ourselves, and we do not describe secondary reporting as our own reporting.
Claims about rules, deadlines and figures are tied to the instrument, filing or announcement they come from. Where a position is contested or a consultation is still open, we state that rather than presenting one outcome as settled. Archive articles are retained as published and carry a note showing when they first appeared; figures and rules quoted in them were current at the time of writing.
Automated drafting
PBI is an assisted publication. An automated pipeline monitors sources continuously, filters candidates for relevance, and drafts articles in the PBI house style using AI tooling that operates under editorial rules and prompts set by our editors. Those rules cover what we cover, how sources are credited, what may be asserted, and the required structure of every article.
Articles produced this way are bylined "PBI Newsroom" and attributed in structured data to Property Business Insights as an organisation, never to a named individual. We do not present machine-assisted work as individually reported journalism, and we do not claim a readership, newsroom headcount or track record we cannot evidence. Named columns carry their author's own byline.
Corrections
If something we have published is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Email info@lucennioproperty.com with the article URL and the specific claim at issue, and, where possible, the source that contradicts it.
We review correction requests as promptly as practical. Substantive factual corrections are made to the article and noted on it. Where a correction changes the meaning of a story, the article's last-updated date changes with it. Removal requests are considered case by case, taking account of legal obligations, accuracy, public interest and archive integrity.
Commercial and sponsored content
PBI is funded by advertising, sponsorship, directory placements and referral arrangements. Banner placements and vendor listings are visibly presented as advertising. Any article paid for by a third party is labelled as sponsored or promoted at the top of the piece and is never presented as newsroom coverage.
Commercial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions. Advertisers and partners get no sight of, or influence over, coverage of themselves or their competitors, and paying for placement does not buy favourable analysis.
Ownership and funding
Property Business Insights is published by Lucennio Property Limited (company number 16014466, registered in England and Wales), which also operates DealSource Pro. Our editors hold commercial interests in the UK property and B2B marketing sectors. PBI is openly owned media and we disclose that rather than claiming otherwise.
Editorial direction and accountability
Editorial direction is set by two named editors, Jamie Adams (co-founder, Lucennio Property) and David Adams (founder, Fortitude Media; former COO of a B2B SaaS platform). They decide what the title covers, set the house rules the automated pipeline operates under, and are accountable for what is published. Profiles for both are on our editorial team page.
